Customer safety during the pandemic
We take the safety and well-being of our guests seriously. We do our best to ensure that you experience a memorable, comforable and safe visit in Lapland’s nature with us.
We observe the rules and recommendations of the Finnish government as well as those of local and national health authorities concerning Covid-19. We update our procedures accordingly.
Outdoor activities in the nature,
guided by professionals
All our guided experiences take place outdoors, in the surroundings of the village of Kilpisjärvi and in the Käsivarsi Wilderness Region. There’s plenty of space, plenty of fresh air and few if any crowds of people in our area of operations.
Small groups and private experiences
With us you will experience Lapland in a small group or privately with your own party. Many of our experiences are arranged on private basis while others can be booked on a seat-in basis or privately, as you choose.
Please check the winter tour descriptions and booking options here. Our summer and autumn tours are always private for you and your party.
We remind our guests to maintain a safety distance at all times, even when we are out in the open air.
Disinfectant hand gel is at our guests’ disposal.
During inside visits, e.g. in our home (included in Catch a Glimpse of Local Life) or at a wilderness shelter (included in the Arctic Evening Experience, the Tundra Experience and Conquer Mt. Halti) we encourage our guests to wear facial masks. It is also recommended to wear a facial mask during the briefings which take place before the start of each activity.
Some of our experiences include refreshment breaks or meals. We are certified in hygienic proficiency and we make sure that the food and drinks we serve are of the highest standard. We wear protective gloves and facial masks when we prepare the food which is served to our guests.
The warm outfits which we provide are delivered to your accommodations in Kilpisjärvi so that you can get dressed in the privacy of your own cottage or apartment.
The clothing set consists of the following: thermal snowsuit, mittens, boots and socks. The snowsuit and the mittens are steamed after each use and the boots are wiped clean. The socks are machine-washed after each use.
Protective helmets and balaclavas must be worn during snowmobile tours and snowmobile passenger sled transfers, and they are always included in the price of the tour. The balaclavas are machine-washed after each use and the helmets are wiped clean with a disinfectant.
If you have any concernes regarding your personal safety and well-being during our tours, please feel free to contact us.
